Sometimes my fickle heart just needs a little morning sunshine to peek through the windows
Or an earnest prayer for a little more snow

...And pillows of frosting to cradle the years

To be reminded of the importance of footprints:
Not that they disappear, but that they were left in the first place

The toil...worth it.

Yes, perspective. This is what I need.

So sweet. I think you've got it right.

I think if I saw a goose right now I'd swallow my tongue over the disorganization of the universe and hope gone mad!

And those eyes, those big blue moon pie eyes! Wow.

You can have some of our snow. This is the winter that will not release its grip - we never even had the traditional January thaw, which is a big tease every year but at least wipes out six weeks of snow in a shot and gives us hope of spring.

The geese made me giggle, too.

Wonderful series. Especially love how you've put words to the images. And the geese's footprints are amazing!

Those pictures are fabulous. As for snow, like Hannah said, you can have ours. We're breaking records all over the place out here with snowbanks higher than our heads.

I am thinking of you and worrying and hoping and don't know where to find you. I hope there is grace, and many mercies to be numbered.

Such a beautiful post. Those blue eyes grab me by the heart.

Also, I can't wait for poppies.
