Oooh, lovely photos. We've had two light snows that haven't stuck at all. The temps have dipped below freezing though, and I am loving that. Winter is my favorite season.
Thank you so much for joining the photo challenge at The Women's Colony. I'm trying so hard to make that room a little more interactive. I like both quiet days and interactive ones. :)
"...It didn't stop raining, and the wind didn't stop blowing, as if there were too many flies and they were beginning to bother the skin of the universe. The universe was fliniching and flailing. And you couldn't fix anything. All you could do was help people. You could set up MASH units in your own life, and tend to people through the sacrament of cocoa and videos, and you could send money, and pray. Things were taking their course--I hate that! But you had to let them. I tried to slow down. Then I needed to nap so often that I concluded I had leukemia..." Plan B Anne Lamott
The sky has been scrubbed clean by thunderstorm. It was one of those diamonds-on-black-velvet nights, stars so thick you’d have to brush them away from your face if you went outside. -Kate sweetsalty blog

Snow? Recently? Weird. Beautiful roses. I noticed that a nice one had bloomed overnight in my garden. But it's a very muggy 80-something degrees here.
wow! what beautify frosty pictures, em.
Oh this made me so jealous!

Gorgeous. I would love to bury my nose in those roses.
Just a subtle reminder that we really like your writing at the women's colony...subtle!
These are beautiful--but probably not so much for the flowers.
